First round of CiSEP workshops successfully concluded in Chernihiv
From 18-21 January 24 members of CSOs from Northern and Eastern Ukraine successfully concluded the last workshop in the first CiSEP (Civic School for Sound EU Practice) cycle in Chernihiv, Ukraine.
This third workshop required a lot of hard work and interaction. We discussed the topic “Communication for CSOs in the Association process” with Marina Rakić, EU Assistance Visibility and Information Officer of the EU Info Centre in Belgrade. What are the challenges of conveying the association process? How do we define our target groups? And which communication channel do we use to reach out to them? While discussing possible answers to these questions, we took a closer look at press releases, tweet-ups, professional “speed-dating” and open door days, to name just a few. Needless to say that the results of our work were instantly posted, twittered, communicated to the outside world.
From December 13-16, 2015, Constanze Aka, project manager at the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP), implemented the second workshop for civil society representatives from Western Ukraine in Lviv.
The workshop “Making an impact: The DCFTA and means of monitoring the association process” conveyed further knowledge on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between Ukraine and the European Union, entering into force on 1 January, 2016.
From 7-10 December 2015, four weeks after the first workshop of the project Civic School for Sound EU Practice (CiSEP) was opened in Odessa, Martin Stein, project manager at Institut für Europäische Politik, returned to the port city at the Black Sea to successfully implement the second workshop of the first project stage with participants from different CSOs of Central and Southern Ukraine.
The third component of the Civic School for Sound EU Practice was successfully launched in Lviv on 23 November, 2015.
